People of the east based on an ancient conviction believed that each year is being governed by an animal, and based on such belief have a rotating motion of twelve animals. East animal has special features governing a particular year. This theory is not isolated to Iran but has ground in many countries particularly in Asia. Based on such thought each of the twelve month of the year, are also governed by other animals with their own particulars, but further added to this would be four elements of water, wind, earth and fire also effecting each month. In the name of the Most High. Intellectuals of Turkmenistan had a twelve year cycle, each year named after an animal. The particulars of the year are thought to be similar to the named animal. The twelve year cycle starts with the Sichghan Eel and ends in Tankooz Eal, each new year of these people begins in Mid Aquarius. This year that is beginning is the first year of the cycle called Sichghan Eal in Turkish meaning year of the Rat. It thought that when entering the year of the Rat, everything is plentiful though expensive. The fruits are in abundance and agriculture is good with plenty of rain. The spring is pleasant and the weather is fine with rain falling in time and in great quantity. The summer is very hot, autumn is very agreeable and the winter is cold. A lot of sickness in seen animals both in land and sea, with the elderly and the children also taken ill. There would be many discussions between states with spies and the army heavily involved. There are many children born, water is plentiful and family quarrels just as many. Each of the children born in the first part of the year are expected to be clever and wise, those in the middle are good looking and with the right qualities but with some temperament and those born in the last part are good talkers and very sociable.
